Once upon a time, on a quiet little cul-de-sac, in a peaceful little Delaware town, we started roasting coffee. And as the amazing aroma spread through the air, people began to realize that there really IS a difference between freshly roasted coffee, and, well, just coffee.

In 2008, Pike Creek Coffee Roasterie outgrew its teeny little building, and moved our roasting operation to Wilmington. And a wonderful local supermarked named Zingos gave us the unique opportunity to open a little coffee shop and roasterie there. With a great team of employees, a loyal cadre of very helpful friends, and fueled by caffeine and a love for what we do, we are excited to share our story and our coffee with others. Most recently, we have teamed up with the Brain Injury Association of Delaware (BIAD) for the "Brewing Hope" campaign, where 10% of our internet orders will go back to the BIAD to support their work in Delaware. Pike Creek Coffee Roasterie imports the finest Arabica beans from around the world, and roasts them to perfection in small batches. Many of our beans are organic and fair trade certified. We roast to order for local coffee shops and gourmet establishments, and have been honored for the second time with the critics choice "Best of Delaware" award by Delaware Today magazine (upstate).

Be assured that every bean you order has been hand-roasted; every grosgrain ribbon hand-tied; and every label hand-written.
