This Indian coffee is exposed to monsoon winds during processing. Here, the beans develop a pale golden color and acquire a distinctive taste. This is a low acidity coffee which is exceptionally smooth and full-bodied with subtle chocolate undertones.
(Monsooned coffee was discovered by accident. During the long voyage from India to Europe, sailing ships carrying coffee were exposed to monsoon winds, and the beans on these ships acquired a whole new taste.)
