I used to own a cafe in my town. Pike Creek Coffee Roasters was my only supplier because of their quality of product, introduction of new flavors and prompt delivery.
To increase sales on Mondays, usually my slowest day, I introduced a new flavor weekly and sent e-mails alerting my customers of what they could anticipate.
My grandson was preteen at that time and loved coming to the cafe to help work and, with his parent's permission, taste the new flavor of the week. He has remained a coffee lover.
I periodically send him a college "care package" with a pound of one of his favorites. I usually purchased the coffee locally, at one of their distributors, and included it with other "grandma" items...cookies, favorite snacks, etc.
I learned I could purchase through their website and have them send to him directly which was convenient with the colder weather. UNFORTUNATELY, I was given the opportunity of free shipping for my first order, but inserting the Code of SHIPFREEFAM didn't provide the discount and my attempts to contact them provided no solution.
So I will continue to still send him coffee, but I will not purchase from them directly.
